Building Inspections

Since the biggest asset a company owns is often their building, it is also used as collateral on the mortgage. Our role is to help with the peace of mind on both the buying side along with the financing side. We examine everything in the building for physical soundness and create a report of problems that need to be addressed currently and areas that should be monitored. We'll do our necessary research to insure that this building is a good investment not only today but in the foreseeable future as well. Our detailed attention to property maintenance, property deterioration, and any possible construction defects allows everyone to rest easy.

A common question that we receive is what types of buildings do we inspect. The answer to that questions is simple: every type. We can do inspections on properties including but not limited to: metal buildings, manufacturing buildings, homes, office buildings, apartments, shopping malls, churches, schools, hospitals, or courthouses. By hiring us to do your inspections, you will be ensured that we coordinate all events for the inspection from gaining access to the building, to environmental liability, to spending hours on site examining everything and to creating a custom–made report for our clients detailing cost estimates for repairs, maintenance, and upkeep. We leave no stone unturned, because we know that is what you deserve.

As part of the PCA, the local building and local fire departments are contacted to check for building or fire code violations. Additionally, verifying that a certificate of occupancy has been issued for the building will be checked.

Property Condition Assessments PDF Print E-mail
REDI Group, Inc. uses the ASTM Standard (ASTM Standard E 2018-01) for Property Condition Assesments as a baseline guide for performing inspections of commercial property. The Standard was revised and republished in March 2002. The revision added Appendix X2 outlining requirements for performing an Americans with Disabilities Act accessibility survey. Clients can customize their level of service to accommodate their specific due diligence needs.
